It is my huge privilege to serve as the minister for Gorgie and Palmerston Place Church. I love being part of the church family here. I believe that Jesus is alive and God is very much at work among us! There is a warm, friendly atmosphere as we meet together in Saltyard café, our Gorgie Church building and our Palmerston Place building.

Before coming to G+PP, I was ordained in Stirling North Parish Church and had the opportunity to serve there which was a very special time. I am new to Edinburgh, I was born in Glasgow and this is my first time living in our capital city. Before becoming a Church of Scotland minister, I worked full time in youth ministry for many years.

 

My first ministry job was as the Youth Pastor at Shawlands Cross Church on the south side of Glasgow. I then served as the Regional Worker for Scripture Union in Ayrshire for several years, and before training for ministry I served on the ministry team as youth and outreach worker in St Michaels Church, Linlithgow, which I loved.

 

I am married to Gareth and we have 3 daughters, Rachael, Naomi, and Sophia. We enjoy living in the Manse with Pippa the dog and Taffy the guinea pig. Please feel free to get in touch if you would like to find out more about Jesus, faith, and what is happening at Gorgie and Palmerston Place.
